Our History

Maplewood Elementary School is named for the neighborhood in which the school is located. The school was built in 1956.

Maplewood is a Title I school and offers the English Language Learners (ELL) program. Students attending Maplewood feed into Miami Middle School and Wayne High School. The school is located in the Board of School Trustees District 5
