About Our Principal

Principal Alexandra "Alex" Trevino has been an educator for 16 years. She has spent the past 14 years in the Fort Wayne Community Schools district. Mrs. Trevino became principal at Maplewood in 2019.  Mrs. Trevino says that she is motivated daily by her students and colleagues. She attended the University of Saint Francis and PFW for her master's degree. When asked what advice would give her younger self, she said "Be Confident- No need to be hesitant."
